The Twin Tiger Aerobatic Team will be making their Michigan Debut in 2019 at the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival. This is a team that has taken the air show industry by storm and is one of the most creative acts to hit the industry.
Mark Sorenson & Mark Nowosielski will take to the Battle Creek skies in their Tiger Painted Russian Yak-55Ms, a rare aircraft to see out on the circuit. Both Mark's are Boeing 737 pilots for Southwest Airlines and enjoy inspiring the next generation of aviators when they are not connecting LUVed ones across the country with the airlines. Mark Sorenson created Tiger Airshows and the innovative stable of acts that is offered. He is truly an innovator in the industry. Mark Nowosielski competed for the US Aerobatic team during the 2015 World Aerobatic Championships. He was also the 2013 US National Advanced Aerobatic Champion.
Get ready for a true Circus in the Sky...literally! "The Ringmasters" will be their second act and it is truly out of this world. Tigers Airshow Founder Mark Sorenson wanted to "give the audience not only something to watch, but something that would intrigue them and make them actually get involved during my show". This act combines the best of air shows and circuses into one thrilling, fun, and amazing show! After the Bengal Tiger striped aircraft take to the skies, an exciting formation and duel act will ensue. But it doesn't stop there, Tiger Airshows brings their own custom smoke-ring generator with them to their shows for this "Ringmasters" routine. You know at the circus where the cat jumps through a ring of fire? Well, that has transformed into the sky with aircraft. As the flames blow the smoke skyward in smoke rings, the competition of who can fly through the most smoke rings follows. This is truly one of the most amazing and fun acts you will ever experience.
Luke Carrico will serve as the announcer for the Twin Tiger Aerobatic Team, providing another level of amazing entertainment!
