Jeff Pestun is originally from Battle Creek and got started in hot-air ballooning by helping out-of-town pilots at the first events here in the early 1980s. He is a graduate of Gull Lake High School as well as Hope College, where he has been employed for over 21 years. Jeff resides in the Saugatuck, Michigan area with his wife Robyn, Son Andrew (16) and daugter Allison (14).
